SF’s Upward Bound Recognized by Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Incorporated Wee Savers

November 13, 2020 – The Wee Savers Project is a National Project of the Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Incorporated, to educate young people about how to use their personal finances. The program sponsors trips to financial institutions, seminars on finance and learning projects. The Gainesville Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho, Eta Phi Sigma Chapter has been facilitating finance and career workshops for the Santa Fe College Upward Bound Program for the past several years. The Santa Fe College Upward Bound Program was presented with a token of appreciation from sorority member Gertrude Johnson on Nov. 5, 2020. “Sigma Gamma Rho, Eta Phi Sigma Chapter looks forward to continuing our work with the Santa Fe College Upward Bound Program for many years to come,” says Gertrude Johnson.
