Retirement Celebration for Carol Wilson

Carol Wilson is retiring from SF after 20 years of service.

November 18, 2020 – Carol Wilson, Executive Assistant to the VP of Advancement, has announced her plans to retire. Carol has served Santa Fe College since May 2000. Her last full day on campus will be Friday, Nov. 20, 2020, and she will be working a few half days in December. Her official retirement date is Jan. 5, 2021.

Carol began her SF career in 2000 within the Office of Finance, as the travel and payroll support specialist. In 2005, she moved over to the Human Resource Department and served as the Compensation Support Specialist for 11 years.  She joined the Advancement Team in 2016 as the executive assistant and has proven to be an asset to the Advancement Office. Carol has worked closely with donors and SF Foundation directors. She has helped coordinate many fundraising events with the SF Foundation.  Chuck Clemons, vice president for advancement, said, “Carol’s passion for serving students is unmatched. Her commitment to excellence is evidenced in the work she does every day. She will be greatly missed at Santa Fe College.”

Carol will be enjoying time with her family, including her two beautiful granddaughters, during her retirement. The Advancement office will certainly miss her but wish her well in the next chapter of her life.
