SF’s Legacy Scholarship Payroll Deductions Support Student Success

January 6, 2021 – In 2017, the SF Legacy Scholarship was established by Bill Penny,  Santa Fe College’s AVP for Information Technology Services and CIO. In addition to helping students achieve the dream of a college education, it was also meant to inspire faculty and staff to assist students attending SF. Payroll deduction is an easy way for an employee to have a direct impact in a student’s life. No amount is too little or too big, employees decide the amount to donate per pay period.

“The reality is that many who want a chance for a bright future need a helping hand,” Penny said. “Sometimes that help can take the form of mentoring or simple encouragement. Thankfully, at SF we have a strong culture of volunteering our time to go the extra mile. But many times, financial assistance is the answer.”

Thank you in advance for considering making a donation that will impact a student’s life. Together we can make a difference and add value to the lives of our students. The electronic deduction form is available through eStaff.
