February 26, 2021 – The Santa Fe College Police Department and Subway teamed up Thursday to benefit the Special Olympics. Orders placed online were delivered across the Northwest Campus, and all proceeds raised by tipping the SFPD officers delivering the meals went to the Special Olympics.

By the end of the event, Subway saw their daily orders double, and SF employees raised more than $300 to benefit Special Olympics.

Special thanks to SFPD’s Sgt. Precious Ford, Sgt. Mark Barley and Officer Sarah Smith, Subway’s Jeff Mohr, Matt Aldridge, David Doring and Ryan Collinsworth, and Special Olympian, Jason for helping make and deliver the sandwiches.
