Student Services Available During SF’s Winter Break

December 2, 2021 – Santa Fe College will close for winter break Saturday, Dec. 18, 2021, through Sunday, Jan. 2, 2022. Although the college will be closed for most normal operations and services, several student service areas of the college will remain open to help students.

  • Office of Admissions (Building R, Room 101) will be open Monday, Dec. 20, and Tuesday, Dec. 21, and again Monday, Dec. 27, and Tuesday, Dec. 28. Remote service is available through the digital lobby. Students can also access the SF Chatbot 24/7 for assistance. Tours of the SF Northwest Campus will be conducted Monday, Dec. 20, and Tuesday Dec. 21. However, available slots may fill up quickly. Check times and register for a tour at sfcollege.edu/campus-visit.  
  • Financial Aid will provide remote services available Monday, Dec. 20, and Tuesday, Dec. 21, and again Monday, Dec. 27, and Tuesday, Dec. 28. Phone appointments can be scheduled on the Financial Aid Department contact page. As always, personalized information regarding your financial aid file can be accessed on your My FA Status page in eSantaFe.
  • Office of the Registrar will provide remote services Tuesday, Dec. 21, Wednesday, Dec. 22, Monday, Dec. 27, and Wednesday, Dec. 29. Remote service for the Registrar can be accessed through the digital lobby. Students can also access the SF Chatbot 24/7 for assistance.
  • Office of Advisement will provide remote services for students Monday, Dec. 20, Tuesday, Dec. 21, and Tuesday, Dec. 28. Remote service is available through their Zoom lobby. Students can also access the SF Chatbot 24/7 for assistance.
  • The Assessment Center (Building G, Room 25) will be open for students needing to take tests. Staff will be available Monday, Dec. 20, and Tuesday, Dec. 21. Students will need to bring a photo ID and masks are strongly encouraged.
  • The Santa Fe College Police Department will be open and operational 24/7 during the break. The SFPD maintains a food pantry in their lobby for those in need.
