December 30, 2021 – Santa Fe College will continue to keep all current COVID-19 safety protocols in effect for the start of the spring 2022 term. College officials are aware of the updated guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and are taking that into consideration as they continue to evaluate the status of COVID-19 within the college’s service district. For now, the college will maintain the requirement that anyone who tests positive, displays symptoms of COVID-19, or is unvaccinated and has had close contact with someone who has tested positive avoid all SF property for 10 days. Students, faculty and staff should continue to follow all SF COVID-19 safety protocols posted on the college’s website. In the event the college changes protocols, all updates will be posted on the COVID-19 webpage and the college community will be notified.
Students who are feeling ill, have tested positive, or have had close contact with someone who is positive should contact Student Affairs using this form. Students should also contact their instructors and keep them updated as to their status. SF employees must notify their immediate supervisor and contact Human Resources at human.resources@sfcollege.edu. Both Student Affairs and Human Resources have been working during the break and monitoring reported cases.
Complete exposure protocols are available at sfcollege.edu/covid19/protocol/exposure.html.
