February 8, 2022 – Santa Fe College faculty are invited to participate in a modified Faculty Walk of Honor as we celebrate this spring with the graduates of the Class of 2022. As the college did in the fall, students graduating in the spring can choose to participate in the Personalized Graduation Experience April 28 and 29, from noon until 5 p.m. in the Jackson N. Sasser Fine Arts Hall.
During the Personalized Graduation Experience, students will sign up for a 15-minute shift in which the student and their guests will
- Enter the Fine Arts Hall
- Hear their name announced
- Walk across the stage
- Be recognized by President Broadie
- Receive a mock diploma
- Take a photo
- Walk through a line of socially-distanced faculty who are dressed in regalia
- Exit the Building
The Personalized Graduation Experience is by appointment only for the students and for the faculty. Health Science graduates will walk Thursday, April 28, between 2 and 3 p.m. and Nursing graduates will walk Thursday, April 28, between 3 and 5 p.m. All other times are available for any graduate.
Any faculty member who would like to participate in the Faculty Walk of Honor, should click the link to complete the Faculty Sign Up Form. Your responses on the form will be used to reserve your spot and to order your graduation regalia, if needed.
