April 5, 2022 – Santa Fe College is mourning the loss of Hannah Fischer, who passed away March 21.
Hannah was first hired in September 2005 as a Curriculum Scheduling and Information Support Specialist before becoming an Administrative Assistant in Institutional Research in 2009. She started her journey with SF through the Displaced Homemaker Program. Hannah was also a strong student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education here at the college. Her indelible presence, familiar sweet laugh, kind voice, and helpfulness will be greatly missed.
There will be a Celebration of Life for Hannah Saturday, May 14, from noon until 3 p.m. at The McKenzie House, 617 E. University Avenue in Gainesville. Please keep Hannah’s two children and family in your thoughts as they go through this difficult time.
