Tabling opportunity at World Tree Kangaroo Day

SF Teaching Zoo Tree Kangaroo, Ecki.

May 10, 2022 – The Santa Fe College Teaching Zoo is celebrating World Tree Kangaroo Day Saturday, May 21, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Guests will be able to enjoy tree kangaroo themed crafts and games, keeper talks, meet some of our animal ambassadors, taste conservation coffee, enjoy live didgeridoo performances, and test out a new augmented reality experience to get up close and personal to a tree kangaroo right through your smartphone! Meet our resident tree kangaroos, Ecki and Adelaide, and see if their new joey is ready to make its appearance!

There will be a couple organizations tabling in front of the zoo, and there are still three available slots for SF departments who would like to promote their services to zoo guests. We request our exhibitors have some type of kid-friendly activity or giveaway, and tables must be staffed with at least one person during the entire event from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Setup is from 8-8:45 a.m.

SF slots are first come, first serve by emailing zoo@sfcollege.edu with the necessary information no later than Friday, May 13:

  • Department
  • Name/email/phone of primary contact
  • Name/email/phone of secondary contact
  • Activity or giveaway at your table
