July 18, 2022 – Parents and Families of 6th – 12th graders of Alachua and Bradford Counties are invited to attend any one of a series of workshops designed to provide parents with critical information and resources to support student success. Session topics will include information on scholarships, grants, financial aid and career exploration.
Students and families will also gain a better understanding of resources available to first-generation students in addition to hearing more about the SF Achieve mentorship and scholarship program.
Currently, the college has three workshops scheduled, with more planned:
- Saturday, July 30, at SF’s Northwest Campus,
- Saturday, Aug. 6, at SF’s Blount Hall in downtown Gainesville
- Saturday, Aug. 20 at SF’s Andrews Center Cultural Building
