August 9, 2022 – As Santa Fe College prepares for the return of students and faculty for the start of the fall term, several student services offices will hold extended hours to provide assistance to students.
Beginning Monday, Aug. 15, the Office of Admissions, Financial Aid and the Office of the Registrar will remain open until 6 p.m. every Monday through Thursday until Aug. 25.
In addition to having staff available in person, students can also schedule appointments through Admissions’ digital lobby or the Registrar’s digital lobby. Students can have basic questions answered through the Financial Aid Chatbot as well.
Advisors in SF’s Academic Advisement Center will be available on a drop-in only basis. For drop-in advising, students will be signed in to meet with the first available advisor. They will also offer extended hours Aug. 15-26. They will be available Mondays through Thursdays from 8 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. and Fridays from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.
Veterans and Military Support Services will be open from 7:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays from Monday, Aug. 15 through Thursday, Aug. 25.
The Placement and Assessment Center is offering extended hours – Monday – Thursday, Aug. 15-18, 8 a.m. until 8 p.m.; Friday, Aug. 19, 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Monday – Thursday, Aug. 22-25, 8 a.m. until 6 p.m.; Friday, Aug. 26, 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
The SF Call Center will remain open until 6 p.m. every Monday through Thursdays until Thursday, Aug. 26. The Call Center can be reached at 352-395-5000.
