August 23, 2022 – Santa Fe College was recently designated by NASPA as a First-Gen Forward institution for helping first-generation college students succeed. SF is conducting a survey to identify currently-employed faculty and staff members who are/were first-generation college students.
The college plans to share data on faculty and staff in our outreach and support of SF’s first-generation students, who may have a greater sense of belonging if they know SF faculty and staff identify as first-generation too. For our purposes, you are a first-generation college student if you attended college and neither of your parents earned a bachelor’s degree.
