December 1, 2022 – Santa Fe College will close for winter break Monday, Dec. 19, 2022, through Sunday, Jan. 1, 2023. Although the college will be closed for most standard operations and services, several student service areas of the college will remain open to help students.
- Office of Admissions (Building R, Room 101) will be open Monday, Dec. 19, through Wednesday, Dec. 21. Remote service is available through the digital lobby. Students can also access the SF Chatbot 24/7 for assistance. Tours of the SF Northwest Campus will be conducted Monday, Dec. 19, and Tuesday Dec. 20. However, available slots may fill up quickly. Check times and register for a tour at sfcollege.edu/campus-visit.
- Financial Aid will provide remote services and in-person services at the Admissions Office. Services are available Monday, Dec. 19 through Wednesday, Dec. 21. Phone appointments can be scheduled on the Financial Aid Department contact page. As always, personalized information regarding financial aid can be accessed on the My FA Status page in eSantaFe. Students can also use the SF Chatbot 24/7 for assistance.
- Office of the Registrar will provide remote services Tuesday, Dec. 20 through Thursday, Dec. 22, and again Tuesday, Dec. 27, through Thursday, Dec. 29. Students must email email@example.com for assistance. Additionally, transcript requests submitted during the break for mail or pick-up will be processed when the college reopens in January. The secure PDF transcript option will continue to be available during the break. Students can find information regarding the status of college transcript evaluation on their My Status page in eSantaFe.
- The Santa Fe College Police Department will be open and operational 24/7 during the break. The SFPD maintains a food pantry in their lobby for those in need.
