January 10, 2023 – The Santa Fe College Academy of Science and Technology, the high school opening this fall on the college’s Northwest Campus is now accepting applications for the 2023-2024 academic year. Students who successfully complete the Academy will have the opportunity to earn their high school diploma, and Associate in Science degree in either health science or information technology, and a minimum of two industry certifications, all at no cost to the student or their families.
Parents can request an application for their student by emailing academy@sfcollege.edu or calling 352-395-4803. They can also learn more about the specific programs and how their child advances through the Academy by attending a parent information night Thursday, Jan. 19, 2023, at 7 p.m. in Building R, Room 001 on SF’s Northwest Campus, 3000 NW 83rd Street, Gainesville.
The school will open to 75 Alachua County incoming ninth-grade students in August 2023, adding a new freshman class each following year.
