January 17, 2023 — Santa Fe College’s Career and Job Placement office has partnered with Student Life and will hold a job fair Thursday, Jan. 26, 2023, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. in the Oak Grove on the Northwest Campus. Organizers say 50 area employers and 10 SF Departments set up with representatives to answer questions about their programs.
Employers will focus on jobs that will be entry to minimal skill level. However, there will be positions such as healthcare and government that are specialized and tend to have a higher point of entry. Students don’t necessarily have to be looking for jobs as this event will provide excellent networking opportunities down the road.
Those who are seeking employment should bring an updated resume/cover letter, dress nicely (no ripped jeans or inappropriate t-shirts), and have their opening pitch ready to deliver.
