January 20, 2023 – Are you looking to grow your business? Think Global with Central-North Florida District Export Council (CNF-DEC). On Wednesday, Feb.1 from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. The CNF-DEC will hold an event co-sponsored by the Greater Gainesville Chamber at Santa Fe College’s Blount Hall 530 West University Avenue Gainesville, FL 32601. The event will be focused on helping local businesses increase their exports.
“The Central North Florida District Export Council is thrilled to be hosting its first networking event in Gainesville! We are looking forward to connecting with local business leaders that may not be aware that the greater Gainesville area already exports nearly $700 million in goods annually and who can benefit from the mentoring that our members offer to businesses and entrepreneurs seeking to expand their sales internationally” remarked Chris Leggett, Program Manager of the Central Florida International Trade Office.
Speakers at the event include Mindi Hertzog, Senior International Trade Specialist with the U.S. Commercial Service, and Dr. Dan Rodkin, Associate Vice President of Student Affairs at Santa Fe College.
Following their presentations, there will be opportunities for further discussions and networking opportunities with international trade experts and local business leaders. Refreshments will be served.
