January 31, 2023 – Santa Fe College’s College Senate Executive Council is accepting nominations to serve as one of the three elected positions – President, Presiding Officer and Secretary – on the College Senate. To be eligible, you must be a full-time faculty or A&P employee of the college. The nomination period closes at the next College Senate Executive Council meeting Feb. 14, at 3:30 p.m.
Anyone interested in running should contact election supervisor Alex Siwiecki at alex.siwiecki@sfcollege.edu.
Should more than one candidate declare for any of the three positions, an election will be held (via eStaff) March 6-10, 2023. Election winners would be announced March 21. Should a run-off election be necessary, it would run from March 27-31, with the results being announced at the April 11 College Senate Executive Council meeting.
Senate Officers – President, Presiding Officer and Secretary – will start their new term beginning May 9.
