March 21, 2023 – The Florida Special Olympics Law Enforcement Torch Run is back! The event will take place Wednesday, April 26, at 10 a.m. Tentatively, the one-mile run will start at Butler Plaza Publix and end at Celebration Pointe. In addition to the Santa Fe College Police Department, the Alachua County Sheriff’s Office, Gainesville Police Department, University of Florida Police Department and Alachua County Fire Rescue will be in attendance.
Anyone planning on attending, and interested in a Special Olympics Torch Run shirt, can see the shirt options, sizes and prices. If you have any questions, please email erika.demarco@sfcollege.edu. All shirt orders must be placed no later than Monday, April 10.
