March 28, 2023 – Excitement is building for the return of the annual Santa Fe College Spring Arts Festival Saturday and Sunday, April 1-2, 2023. The event will be hosted on the Northwest campus of Santa Fe College and will highlight regional and local visual artists, student artists and independent businesses. Artists and craftspeople from across the country and around the world will highlight their talents in mediums including painting, sculpture, jewelry, glass, ceramics and more. The poster artist, Stacey Breheny, will be near the information booth on both days to sign posters.
This year’s SF Spring Arts Festival will also feature a full schedule of performing artists on two different stages: the Oak Grove (outdoor stage) and the Lyceum (indoor stage).
Additional entertainment is available Friday and Saturday evening in the Jackson N. Sasser Fine Arts Hall. Audiences will be entertained by the Dance Theatre of Santa Fe while they perform traditional West African dance, hip hop, classical ballet, contemporary modern and musical theatre dance styles in the annual “Elements of Style” performances. Tickets are available online.
The weekend is packed with activities in the SF Kid Zone areas, SF Art Gallery, SF Fine Arts Hall, SF Museum of Earth Science (MOES), SF Kika Silva Pla Planetarium and the SF Teaching Zoo. A complete listing of all activities can be found on the Spring Arts Festival website.
