Saving Seeds from Your Florida Garden – April 4

Seed saving is fun, rewarding and empowering! Learn the basics of how to save the very best seed from your garden, along with some fun stories about local crops and the people that grow them. We’ll learn about the plants that go to seed in our climate, how to avoid cross-pollination, when the seeds are ready for harvest, how to gather and process, and the best ways to store them.

Plan to join Santa Fe College and Florida Heritage Foods, Tuesday, April 4, from 2 to 3:30 p.m. in Room P-131 (Media Studio), on SF’s Northwest Campus, 3000 NW 83 St, Gainesville, FL 32606.
