Changes in SF Student Affairs Staff

April 4, 2023 – Santa Fe College Vice President for Student Affairs, Dr. Naima Brown, extends congratulations to the following Student Affairs staff members who are starting new interim roles. 

Andrea Mender has been promoted to the role of Interim Director, TRIO/CAP. In this role, she will lead the seven TRIO programs as well as the College Achievement Program. Dr. Brown stated that “Andrea has done excellent work as the Coordinator of the Student Support Services STEM program, and we are confident that she will excel as Interim Director.”

Alisha Hunt has been promoted to the role of Interim Associate Director of Financial Aid. In this role, Alisha will assist the Director in overseeing day-to-day functions, provide support for staff, and translate policy into procedure. “Alisha has done an outstanding job as a Coordinator in Financial Aid,” said Dr. Brown, “and we trust that she will continue to soar as Interim Associate Director.”

Shanna Ratliff has been promoted to the role of Interim Coordinator of Student Support Services STEM. In this role, Shanna will ensure that the program complies with the grant specifications, manage the budget, support staff, and offer programming that improves student completion. Dr. Brown shares that “Shanna has been an exemplary Academic Coach for SSS STEM, and we know that she will be just as successful as Interim Coordinator.”
