June 27, 2023 – Last week, the Santa Fe College District Board of Trustees approved the college’s 2023-2024 budget. The budget is primarily based on funding through state funding and student tuition. In addition to proposed budget requests from departments across the college, the budget also considered recommendations from shared governance.
As a result of the approved budget, all employees across the college will see a pay increase. College leadership announced the details to the college community Wednesday afternoon. Anyone who would like to watch the presentation can access it online.
In addition to the salary increase, the college will continue to cover 100% of the employee health insurance plan premium, while continuing to research options for competitive alternatives. Full-time employees will once again receive a $600 contribution to their HRA/HSA account to be used for qualifying personal medical expenses incurred during 2024.
