November 3, 2023 – The Santa Fe Saints Men’s Basketball season began with a home game victory over Mont Sports Academy, winning 83-81. The Saints continue the momentum they built at the end of last season, having won four of their final five games.
Entering his 21st season at SF, Head Coach Chris Mowry seems optimistic about the team’s future despite recent departures.
“The team has been working hard in practice to prepare for a successful year,” Mowry said. “We have a deep roster, with competition for playing time at every position. Having lost our top 8 scorers from last year, there is an opportunity for everyone to step in and contribute.”
The Saints’ next battle is Tuesday, Nov. 7 when they travel to Pasco-Hernando State College to take on the Bobcats.
