This Week at Santa Fe College: Run with the Cops, First Gen Day and More

November 5, 2023 – Do you know what’s happening this week at Santa Fe College? Here’s a rundown of just a few events and important dates:

  • Daylight Saving Time ends Nov. 5: Turn your clocks back one hour.
  • STEAM Fest! on Nov. 6-8: The Perry Center for Emerging Technologies hosts three evenings of creativity, innovation and research.
  • SF Grad Fair on Nov. 8: The Santa Fe College Bookstore will host a Grad Fair, providing graduating students with an opportunity to pick up graduation tickets, purchase graduation regalia and win prizes. 
  • First Gen Day on Nov. 8: SF celebrates First Gen college students as well as faculty and staff who were first-generation graduates.
  • Run with the Cops returns Nov. 9: Open to the entire community, participants can run, walk or roll along the track with law enforcement officers from local agencies.
  • “An Evening of Jazz” on Nov. 9: the SF Jazz Ensemble and the SF Jazz Combo will perform at the Jackson N. Sasser Fine Arts Hall at the Northwest Campus.
  • Santa Fe College will be closed Nov. 10 and 11 for Veterans Day: Normal operating hours will resume Monday, Nov. 13.
