November 8, 2023 – The Santa Fe Saints followed up their season opening victory against Mont Sports Academy with another hard-fought win. Tuesday, the Saints edged past the Pasco Hernando State College Bobcats 71-67.
Saints Head Coach Chris Mowry noted the team’s challenges and determination to push through.
“Our defense was much better in the second half,” Mowry said. “Offensively, we struggled to make shots at the rim and from the 3-point line. We found a way to get stops down the stretch and made some timely free throws. We will work each day to get better.”
The Saints will play Gordon State College at the Best Western Gateway Grand Classic on Thursday, Nov. 9 at the SF Gym. Game time is 7 p.m.
