2024-2025 FAFSA Forms Are Available for New and Current SF Students

Santa Fe College's Clock Tower on the Northwest Campus.

January 2, 2024 – Current and prospective Santa Fe College students seeking financial aid to continue their academic careers must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

The 2024-2025 FAFSA form is available periodically as part of the United States Department of Education’s soft launch. During the soft launch, the FAFSA form will be available for short periods of time while the Department of Education monitors site performance and form functionality. The organization will initiate pauses for site maintenance and to make technical updates as needed to provide users with a better experience.

Completing and submitting the FAFSA form gives students access to the largest source of aid to help pay for college or career school. In addition, many states, colleges and private aid providers use FAFSA information to determine aid eligibility.

To get your aid each year, you must complete the financial aid process:

  1. Apply for aid using the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
  2. List Santa Fe College on your FAFSA (001519).
  3. Apply for Admission/Readmit to Santa Fe College.
  4. Have your proof of high school completion (diploma, GED, etc.) and all transcripts sent from previous institutions.
  5. If selected for Verification, check My FA Status in eSantaFe for documents that must be submitted.
  6. Review your awards in My FA Status.
  7. Deferments and Bookstore Lines of Credit are given to students with enough available aid.
  8. Attend and complete classes to maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP).
  9. Receive your disbursement (refund) through BankMobile.
  10. Reapply using the FAFSA every academic year.
