January 11, 2024 – The SF Saints challenged the #2 ranked team in the country yesterday. The undefeated Daytona State College Falcons were in for a fight.
The Falcons established their lead early. However, the Saints would not surrender, matching them point for point in the second half. In the end, the Falcons held on to win 96-80.
“I’m proud of our team for playing hard until the end,” Saints Head Coach Chris Mowry said with a keen eye on the future. “We’ve got another tough one on Saturday against Eastern Florida. We need to keep working hard at practice to be ready for them.”
The 8-7 Saints host Eastern Florida State College on Saturday, Jan. 13 at 4 p.m.
