January 19, 2024 – The Santa Fe College (SF) Gallery will showcase the talents of Alexander Hanson starting on Friday, Jan. 19. You can find the SF Gallery in Building M, Room 147, situated on the Northwest Campus at 3000 NW 83 Street in Gainesville.

Join us for the opening reception on Jan. 19 at 7 p.m. The exhibit will run until March 15.

Hanson received his MFA from the University of Iowa and now instructs sculpture at the University of Arkansas. His work often focuses on the use of objects, constructed and found, as a way to ask pointed questions. His work often takes form through installation or built environments. He will be creating a site-specific installation and spending a week on campus as a visiting artist-in-residency.

This and all SF Gallery events are free and open to the public. Tickets are not required for this event.
