January 23, 2024 – Santa Fe College anticipates receiving water testing results tomorrow, Jan. 24, from samples submitted today following completion of repairs to the water main break. A boil water requirement will remain in effect until water testing is complete.

In the meantime, the college has set up bottled water at Building S and Building F, and is expecting additional supplies of water to arrive as early as this evening. For food service on Wednesday, Jan. 24, Coffee 101 will be open for grab and go items. Subway and La Fortuna in the Food Court will reopen as soon as possible following confirmation of testing results.

The college has also acquired supplies that allow the Little School to be open tomorrow and provide clean water for the animals of the SF Teaching Zoo.

The college is grateful for the Alachua County Sheriff’s Office and Levy County Emergency Management, who provided additional resources to support the college.

The next update will be posted at 8 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 24.
