Spring 2024 Advising Workshop Series Begins

February 2, 2024 – Students, it’s time to unlock your next level! Elevate your academic journey by attending the Spring 2024 Advising Workshop Series.

Join Santa Fe College’s Academic Advisors in Building A, Room 028 for the following workshops on their respective dates:

  • Do I Need an Academic Plan?! (Feb. 28 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.): Learn about academic planning and how you can use it to satisfy your program requirements.

  • Preparing for Course Registration (March 20 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.): Find out how to resolve registration stops, review your degree audit, determine which courses to take, and register for courses.

  • Transferring 101 (April 10 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.): In this workshop, you’ll receive a general overview of the things you need to know about transferring, including the application process, dates and deadlines, and other tips and best practices to help you achieve transfer success.

  • Pathways to Success: Maximizing Your College Experience (April 24 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.): Uncover internships, study abroad programs, job opportunities, volunteering experiences, and student organizations that can enrich your college journey.

Attendees are strongly encouraged to bring an electronic device to each workshop. Students who attend will have an opportunity to receive a free Subway cookie voucher.
