February 12, 2024 – The Saints battled one of the best teams in Florida on Saturday. The Daytona State College Falcons are ranked 4th in the state.
The Falcons took to the air early, commanding the lead throughout the game. Although the Saints outscored the Falcons in the second half, they couldn’t clip Daytona’s wings. The Falcons won 106-86.
“Daytona played a very good first half and we were really bad,” Saints Head Coach Chris Mowry said. “At halftime we talked about playing with some heart and desire. I thought we went out and accomplished that in the last twenty minutes.”
The Saints will travel to face Eastern Florida State College on Feb. 13.
