February 22, 2024 – Career and Technical Education programs at Santa Fe College (SF) prepare students to join the workforce of the future. These programs are your opportunities to get hands-on training and the real-world experience you need:

Business

SF’s Business programs offer a wide range of educational opportunities for A.A. transfer students, dual enrollment students, both traditional and non-traditional students, and those who already hold a degree. Online programs and in-person day and evening classes accommodate the diverse needs of students.

Construction and Technical

Using a hands-on approach to learning, these programs prepare individuals for initial employment in a wide range of industrial occupations. SF also offers apprenticeship programs that combine on-the-job experience with classroom instruction.

If you want to make a difference in the life of a child, then the Santa Fe College Early Childhood Education program prepares today’s educators to nurture the next generation. From learning to leading, we equip our students with the values and skills that can cultivate greatness.

Emerging Technologies

Located in the heart of Alachua, Florida’s high-tech corridor, Santa Fe College’s Perry Center for Emerging Technologies offers cutting edge science degrees. The Perry Center for Emerging Technologies programs are all enhanced with required internships.

Fine Arts and Entertainment Technology

Refine your academic and technical training to prepare for a career in the arts. Choose from a wide range of academic and technical studies including:

Health Sciences

Health Sciences at SF is comprised of Allied Health, Nursing, and Dental programs. These options prepare value-driven professionals to positively influence patient journeys.

Information Technology

Comprised of Programming, Networking and Security programs, SF’s Information Technology Education prepares individuals for careers in their chosen areas of expertise. From the tech desk to the president’s desk, our programs build the framework for technical mastery.

Public Safety

SF’s Institute of Public Safety (IPS) does not offer law programs. Instead, it offers public safety certificate and degree programs. IPS programs accommodate the growing need for skilled public safety personnel in Florida and across the country. 

Zoo Animal Technology

If you are passionate about animals, then you might consider applying to SF’s Zoo Animal Technology program. The Santa Fe College Teaching Zoo is located on Santa Fe College’s Northwest Campus. It is the only zoo in the country on a college campus accredited by the Association of Zoos & Aquariums (AZA).
