February 26, 2024 – Last Saturday, the Saints journeyed to Florida Southwestern College to take on the Buccaneers in yet another conference showdown.
The Saints started strong, controlling the lead throughout the entire game. Despite the Buccaneers outscoring them in the third quarter, the Saints squashed any comeback, winning the game 72-63.
“A big road [win] for our program today,” Saints Head Coach Russ Jackson said. “Being able to come into Sun Coast Arena and walk out is huge for the continued growth of our young ladies. We had a tough week last week so coming out today focused and being able to minimize our mistakes was outstanding!”
The Saints host the St. Petersburg College Titans on Wednesday Feb. 28 at 5 p.m.
