February 29, 2024 – On Wednesday, Feb. 28, the Saints faced off against the St. Petersburg College Titans at the SF Gym. Despite a close match, the Saints unfortunately fell short with a final score of 65-64.
“Tough loss for us tonight,” Saints Head Coach Chris Mowry said. “St. Pete is an outstanding defensive team and very hard to score against. We did a great job coming from behind several times in the second half to tie the game up and each time they had an answer. We fought hard and came up just short.”
The 10-18 Saints take to the road to challenge the Miami Dade College Sharks this Saturday, March 2 before wrapping up the season at home on March 4.
