Santa Fe College's Clock Tower on the Northwest Campus.

March 1, 2024 – Northwest 23rd Avenue in Gainesville is scheduled to be resurfaced and upgraded, including a widening of the road to allow for turning off NW 23rd into some neighborhoods and a wide multi-modal path. The project will run from NW 58th Boulevard to the NW 83rd Street intersection.

Crews will begin work as soon as Monday, March 11, with most of the project slated to occur in the evenings and overnight hours to limit traffic disruptions. However, there is the potential for impacts to students, faculty and staff traveling to the Northwest Campus from NW 23rd Avenue.

The construction process is expected to last approximately eight months.
