March 10, 2024 – Do you know what’s happening this week at Santa Fe College? Here’s a rundown of just a few events and important dates:
- Register now for Professional Development Day: SF faculty and staff must register by March 15.
- UF College of Pharmacy Walk-In Advising is March 12 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.: Visit SF’s Event Calendar for more UF Advising dates.
- The College Senate Executive Council at Santa Fe College will meet March 12: Join your colleagues at 3:30 p.m. in Building P, Room 160.
- The Displaced Homemaker Program 40th Anniversary Reception is also March 12: The reception runs from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. in Building R, Room 001.
- The Student Piano Recital is March 13 at 6:30 pm.: Come hear the progress of SF Piano students performing selections of classical and contemporary piano compositions, under the direction of Dr. Mitch McKay.
- Mental Health First Aid Training for employees is March 14: This training helps participants understand how to help students, visitors or staff members who may be experiencing a mental health-related crisis or problem on campus.
- Need An Academic Plan?! is also March 14: Join Santa Fe College’s Academic Advisors in Building S, Room 241 to create a two-semester academic plan.
- The Digital Health IT/E Summit is March 15: Santa Fe College’s Blount Hall hosts this year’s Digital Health IT/E Summit from 9 a.m. to noon.
- “Jazz Up Spring” celebrates the music of Duke Ellington and Count Basie on March 15: The 15 students in the Jazz Ensemble and the eight students in the Jazz Combo will alternate music by the two composers throughout the concert.
- Living Tech Smart in an AI Driven World is March 16: Middle and high school students in Bradford County are invited to this interactive career exploration program.
