March 12, 2024 – Curiosity. Solutions. Innovation can propel you into the future. Today’s most successful trailblazers defy convention. Santa Fe College (SF) prepares forward-thinkers to lead the way via specialized degree and certificate programs.

For instance, SF’s bachelor’s program in Information Systems Technology with tracks in programming, networking, and cybersecurity can equip you to expand your curiosity, satisfy your desire to tackle complex problems, and be rewarded for your tenacity.

A significant advantage of the program is that you don’t need to be an expert to join. For example, Olivia Jones, an Information Technology student at SF, never received any training until she started college.

“I took a class called ‘Internet for Office Professionals,’ and that really piqued my interest in IT,” Jones said. “Coding is basically like another language, and it’s spoken worldwide. So if you get into any kind of IT-related field, you will definitely have a job wherever you go.”

Jones also valued Santa Fe College for its smaller class sizes and the individual attention instructors provide.

“And if you don’t understand something,” Jones said, “they will step in and say, ‘Hey, let me help you.’ They will encourage you and push you along the way. If they need to push you up that hill, they will make sure you get to the top.”

From the IT desk to the president’s desk, our Information Technology programs build the framework for more than technical mastery. More than enrichment. Fulfillment.
