SF Emergency Management Recruiting New Building Safety Ambassadors

April 9, 2024 – Class #5 of the nationally recognized Santa Fe College Building Safety Ambassador program returns this summer.

Operating under an Emergency Management umbrella, the College is seeking staff who are interested in receiving additional training in safety and risk topics such as evacuation drills, CPR, first aid, event management, stop the bleed, as well as fires and fire extinguishers.

The classes will be Tuesday, June 4, and Tuesday, June 11. Those who successfully complete the curriculum will receive a certificate and become part of the network of over 40 trained Building Safety Ambassadors.
