College Transitions Title IX Coordination

April 29, 2024 – Lara Zwilling is stepping down from her role as Equity Officer and Title IX Coordinator for Santa Fe College after five years of service. Beginning Monday, April 29, Alejandra Fernandez, Victim Advocate Specialist for the College, will serve as interim Title IX Coordinator and will assume responsibility for receiving complaints regarding Title IX and discrimination and harassment under Rule 2.8. 

Zwilling will stay with the College in a part-time role over the summer to support the transition.

“I want to thank Lara for her exemplary service as Equity Officer and Title IX coordinator,” said Patti Locascio, Senior Vice President, Chief of Staff, and General Counsel. “I wish her all the best in her new endeavors, which I know she will engage with the same sense of compassion and dedication.”

“I also want to thank Alejandra for stepping into this important role, where she will continue to have a positive impact on the College’s students and staff,” Locascio added.
