SF Emergency Management Seeking New Building Safety Ambassadors

May 1, 2024 – This summer, Santa Fe College is bringing back Class #5 of its nationally recognized Building Safety Ambassador program. The College, operating under an Emergency Management umbrella, is actively seeking staff interested in enhancing their safety and risk management skills. Training will cover a range of topics including evacuation drills, CPR, first aid, event management, stop the bleed procedures, as well as fires and fire extinguishers.

The classes are scheduled for Tuesday, June 4, and Tuesday, June 11. Upon successful completion of the curriculum, participants will receive a certificate and join a network of over 40 trained Building Safety Ambassadors.
