Small Business Resource Fair April 6

Tools to help your business succeed

Do you know someone who owns a small business or is interested in starting one?

The upcoming Small Business Resource Fair, 1-4 p.m. Tuesday, April 6 features panel discussions and tabling by representatives from groups and agencies that help small businessed get off the ground, or grow! 

The fair will be held at Littlewood Elementary School (NW 8th Avenue and NW 34th Street near Westside Park), and is a free community event with several sponsors (see flyer linked below).

Participating agencies include the City of Gainesville’s Equal Opportunity and Economic Development Division, SCORE Counselors to Small Businesses, Small Business Development Center, UF’s Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation and the UF Small Business and Vendor Diversity Relations, and more.

Panel discussions

1 p.m. – Show Me the Money, Part 1 – Selling to the Government (six panelists)

2:15 p.m. – Show Me the Money Part II – Economic Gardening (four panelists)

3 p.m. – Managing for Small Business Success (six panelists)
