Dr. Dawn Miller and Dr. Loree Crain, faculty members in Nursing Programs at Santa Fe, recently presented at a poster session at the League of Innovation’s conference in Baltimore, Md.
The topic of their poster was Online Student Evaluations of Multiple Faculty and Clinical Sites. These surveys were developed and implemented for the Nursing Programs by Dr. Miller in collaboration with the company EasyEval (which happens to be owned by Steve Jensen in Academic Technologies). The survey allows student evaluation of multiple instructors in multiple clinical settings and facilities, and captures information that is essential to meet accreditation requirements.
Along with presenting their poster, they also attended a number of sessions that were very interesting and informative.
“We came home with lots of good information and ideas to help the Nursing Programs continue to grow and thrive,” said Crain.
