Free SF Group Exercise Classes offered Mondays and Wednesdays

Attention all faculty and staff! Personal trainers Jessica Bermudez and Jonathan Inman are leading group exercise classes every Monday and Wednesday in S-29/30 from 4:45-5:30 p.m. The classes feature 40 to 45 minutes of core and aerobic-style exercise.

“The thing people worry about the most with a new exercise class is how difficult it will be, but Jessica makes it very user friendly,” said Marshall Blair, head supervisor of the SF Fitness Center. 

Free Zumba classes at 5 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday

Zumba is offered every Tuesday and Thursday from 5 to 6 p.m. in S-326/327. Zumba is now also offered on Mondays from 5 to 6 p.m. in R-01. This is a large class and it is open to faculty, students and staff.

Free dance exercise classes Mondays and Wednesdays

Come to the dance sudio in E-109 for a high-energy, free dance exercise class taught by Fine Arts Chair Alora Haynes, from 4:45-5:20 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays.

Cut your stress: ongoing Mindfulness sessions offered Mondays and Fridays

Prof. Greg Jones is leading his mindfulness meditation sessions during the spring semester at 8 a.m. on Fridays and at noon on Mondays, both in Y-123 in the library. Sessions are open to all students, faculty and staff.

Free yoga classes, Tuesdays and Thursdays

Classes are taught by Shenna Benarte in V-16 at 5-6:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Bring a mat or towel and wear loose-fitting clothing.
