MALCOLM CLAPSADDLE NAMED FCSAA PITCHER OF THE WEEK
FCSAA Baseball Pitcher of the Week Malcolm Clapsaddle, Santa Fe Sophomore – Orlando, Fla.
Santa Fe College’s Malcolm Clapsaddle is this week’s FCSAA Baseball Pitcher of the Week. Clapsaddle, a sophomore from Orlando, Fla., earned the award for a second straight week after going 2-0 with a 0.56 ERA in two games. He tossed a one-hitter and struck out 12 in a complete-game victory against Florida State College on March 21. On March 26, he allowed only one run and four hits, while striking out eight, over seven innings of work in a winning effort against Seminole State.
For the week, Clapsaddle allowed one run, five hits and three walks and struck out 20 in 16 innings. He improved his record to 8-1 and has a 1.28 ERA on the season with 68 strikeouts in 56.1 innings pitched.
