SF College for Kids Now Registering

College for Kids has 36 spaces left in both Session 1 and 2, so don’t delay if you plan to sign up your child.

They have some very cool classes planned, especially if your son or daughter is into CSI.

“The Alachua County Sheriff’s Office is doing a presentation and the GPD crime scene van is coming out for our Forensics 101 and 102 classes,” says Program Director Betsy Albury.

College For Kids (CFK) is organized by Community Education and is designed as an academic program, offering students challenging, fun, hands-on learning experiences beyond the ordinary school environment. A wide range of classes in topics ranging from art to math to science to computer skills are available to choose from in block sessions. Classes are for ages 10 to 14 (rising 5th-8th graders).
