Going away party Sept. 8
Please join College Prep Advisement (CPA) of Academic Foundations in saying farewell to our coordinator, Dr. Marcia Buresch. After more than eight years, Marcia’s last day on campus will be Friday, Sept. 9 (her party will be on Thursday, Sept. 8 – see below).
We appreciate her unwavering compassion for serving Santa Fe’s students, staff and faculty. Marcia earned a PhD in Higher Education (Marketing) from Saint Louis University. As a visionary and organizational strategist, she leaves behind systems and policies influenced by initiatives championed through her leadership. These contributions include the advisement/registration listserv, Santa Fe Advising Council, electronic progress reports, the initial connection to educational possibilities between Sweden and Santa Fe, to name a few.
As we reflect on the excellence in everything Marcia has done for Santa Fe, especially for the advising community, we invite you to attend a farewell gathering to wish her well, noon-2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 8 in G-24.
