Sustainable Santa Fe January Events

This semester is a busy time of year for Sustainable Santa Fe. Here are the activities happening this month:

  • Thursday, Jan. 17 – Florida Arbor Day Celebration by the City of Gainesville, 11:45 a.m. – 1 p.m., Alachua County Senior Recreation Center, located at 5701 NW 34th Street
  • Friday, Jan. 18 – next full committee meeting, 1 p.m., P-266
  • Saturday, Jan. 26 – The 14th Annual Great Air Potato Roundup (if you are interested in being a part of this city-wide event, please RSVP to Barbara Little-Harsh by Friday, Jan. 18)
  • Tuesday, Jan. 29 – Sustainability Film Series presents “What’s Organic About Organic?”, 6 p.m., WA-104
  • Wednesday, Jan. 30 – Sustainability Film Series presents “Home,” 2 p.m., Andrews Center in Starke
  • Ongoing through April 2 – Sustainability Student Competitions (click here for more details)
