SF BASEBALL – 1/29/2013
Gainesville, FL – The Santa Fe Saints will welcome the defending state champions to Gainesville on Wednesday afternoon when the Polk State College Eagles make the trip from Winter Haven for a 3:00 PM game. SF Coach Johnny Wiggs spent eight years at the helm of PSC before moving on to Santa Fe.
The Saints enter the contest with a 3-0 record having won all three games on their opening weekend. Polk, the #1 ranked team in the FCSAA, is 1-0 in the early going.
Josh Larson is expected to take the ball against the Eagles. Larson started opening day in Hillsborough and picked up a no decision.
Admission is free for everyone to all Saints baseball games.
