Sustainable Santa Fe would like to announce that it has partnered with Alachua County Waste Alternatives to tour the Leveda Brown Transfer Station. This is a great opportunity for anyone at Santa Fe College to better understand the waste and recycling systems in Alachua County, and also a way for students to get ideas for the sustainability competitions currently going on. If you or your class would like to join one of the tours, please email Barbara Little-Harsh your preference of date.
The dates are:
- 2 – 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21
- 2 – 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 28
- 2 – 3:30 p.m. Thursday, March 28
