On Tuesday, Feb. 19, Scherer Construction will begin work on the replacement of Building K’s roof. Until spring break, the majority of the demolition work will occur 10 p.m. – 7 a.m., minimizing the disturbance to faculty, students and staff. During spring break, the demolition work will take place during the day, returning to primarily nighttime work on March 11. Once the demolition is complete, the contractor will work during the daytime. As part of this project, Scherer will be required to use a portion of the walkway between Buildings J and I. The majority of the work will be complete by April 24, and the entire project should be complete by May 24.
